cold sunshine

The cold sunshine upon my chest,
I lay down my head and take a rest,
Lost memories of being new,
Thoughts of love, of me and you,
The harsh truth pouring down with rain,
For now im old and not the same,
A photo of these faces young,
A record filled with songs I sung,
My voice now silent, my skin is worn,
My photo wrinkled and slightly torn,
Un-faded my heart, still reads true,
Forever I will always love you.
