lonley eyes

lonely eyes stare at me,
all she is that they can see,
a girl to fat, a girl to thin,
all that is their and a daily sin,
one unforgiving mirror one uneasy mime,
an image that she looks upon not once but all the time,
she knows her heart is true, beneath the tired skin,
but life’s a beauty pageant, that she’s sure that she cant win,
she sits along a panel, she’s the judge of vanity,
she’s so sure hat she ugly, that she looses sanity,
one slit upon an ugly wrist, and life comes draining out,
and all the life in front of her she starts to think about,
of memories of love and lost,
of painful words and things that cost,
and a person speaks as she’s taken away,
'what a shame, for one more beautiful than day'
